I have something to admit. I am a Healthy Mummy addict. I love the food, the smoothies, the cookbooks and all the products.
I discovered The Healthy Mummy in September 2015 and watched everyone else’s journey before braving it and signing up for myself. I joined for the October 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge but didn’t start til the 1st of November. I used the whole month of October printing off recipes and menu planning, so I went into November fully prepared.
My biggest struggle was remembering to eat breakfast and snacks. I hate to admit, but I was a meal skipper and would feed everyone else but not myself. Now I am proud to admit I no longer am. I was that bad of a meal skipper that even though I had the snacks already prepared, I would find myself busy and before I knew it was lunch/tea and I hadn’t eaten my snacks. So I had to put reminders on to eat breakfast (started off small having a bowl of oats) and to eat morning and afternoon snacks. In case you are wondering, I am no longer a meal skipper as I am more prepared as I even take snacks with me to town and the gym.
Since joining The Heathy Mummy, not only have I benefited, but also my children and husband. My kids especially love the healthy meals and now ask for me to make Mum’s yummy stuff so they can have it for school/kindy. They will sit down and look through my Healthy Mummy cookbooks (Healthy Mummy Healthy Kids Cookbook) and choose a recipe they want to make.
Joining The Healthy Mummy was the best choice I made and it is yours too.
