My name is Brooke and I am one of your motivating mums for the 100 days to summer countdown. I have lost 17kgs following all things Lose Baby Weight.
Lose Baby Weight- 25kg Loss

I just want to tell you a little about myself, I have battled all my life with weight, as a child I walked through school been very over weight and suffered depression because of how I looked and not been able to do activities such as running or play sports I wanted to as I was not fit enough or didn’t have the courage to join in as I was upset how I looked.
At 16 I was pregnant and my weight got worse from here. With a 30kg weight gain and becoming a young mother was very hard, but very rewarding, I walked through many obstacles over these 8 years and conceived my second pregnancy and sadly lost my son at 16 weeks in my pregnancy from an erupted placenta.
My weight gain got worse from here and then I went on to have another three more beautiful children.
Over the 8 years I have gained 55kg, a whole person and was losing all hope I would ever lose my weight, until I came upon the Lose Baby Weight on face book and then my life has suddenly changed.
I have started my weight loss journey this year in May, with my starting weight at 145.8KG.
My weight loss journey began on the lose baby weight smoothies and using the free recipes on the lose baby weight web site where I had access to much information on weight loss and many amazing recipes.
By July I had lost 9.8KG and I decided I would do the 28 Day Challenge, I found the 28 Day Challenge to be amazing, I have a family of six so I was able to customise my meals to the servings I needed for us, I could change my meal plans over to suit my budget and to please our fussy pallets and a shopping list I could print off for when I got my grocies.

The exercises on the Healthy mummy were amazing home workouts which is what I needed, as I don’t have baby sitters, or access to child care and my work out routines became at night time when my children are asleep.
By the end of the July challenge I had lost 6kg and have gone on to the August challenge where it has featured amazing 5 ingredient recipes.
So far in this august challenge I have lost 3kg which has brought my weight loss to 17.1KG.
My experience on loose baby weight has been fantastic, I found the smoothies to be very tasty and filling and exciting because I can add fruit and vegetables to create many tastes.
The 28 Day Challenges are easy to follow and amazing recipes the family will enjoy, then having  the Healthy Mummy closed group on Facebook has gave me the support, the courage and inspiration from other mums losing their weight that it has kept me motivated to succeed in my goals to become healthy.
My five tips for this 100 Day challenge are

  • take a before photo shot
  • take weekly progress photos
  • Freeze baked treats into portions sizes and only get out what you need for the day so you do not indulge in too much snacking
  • drink lots of water throughout the day aim for 2L
  • plan and prepare your meals in advance so on days your tired you can heat up your meals

I have a long journey ahead of me and I cannot wait to keep you all updated and inspire you with my progress along the way.
