This month we have been motivated by the story of Motivating Mum Nicole Daniels. Nicole has now lost 12 kilograms with Lose Baby Weight and we hope that you find her story motivates you on your own weight loss journey. You can read her first post here.
‘This week has had many ups and downs. The week started off great and busy. My daughter started toilet training, and has done really well.
I upped my exercise by getting up in the morning and doings exercises from the 28 Day Plan and 3 times a week I do Zumba at home.
We went for a walk nearly every day but then we had 2 days of rain. I love going for a walk but instead did some more exercises at home.
I also increased my squats from 100 to 200 every night.
This week I made pumpkin soup for the first time. It was so yummy. I love every week planning out our meals from the 28 Day Plan and from the recipes on the website.
I’m now trying recipes from the Winter Warmer Menu. I love trying new food but I still love my faves like beef stir fry.
Then in the week we got news that my beloved grandma had passed away.
So I have been really emotional but I stuck to all my food and exercise as planned.
There was a couple of days I didn’t feel like exercising but I put on my joggers and did them knowing my reward would be that we could all get out and go for a walk which really helps.
I am really excited to be doing the Winter Weight Loss Challenge.
I set my goal for weight loss for the month but with this challenge I set myself a goal to lose more weight and hopefully take my total weight loss to 15 kilos.
My goals for this week is to increase my exercise and aim for 1 hour a day as well as go for a walk every day.
Also I want to cook more meals like this one from the Winter Warmer Menu and try new smoothie recipes.
Here are my stats for the week:
- Weight loss 61.1 down 1 kilo
- Bust stayed the same
- Waist 91cm down 1cm
- Hips 97cm down 1cm
And my BMI finally went under 25 and now I’m in the healthy range. I’m so happy and excited that I have reached one of my goals for the month.
